Alissa (Salee) Enright

Alissa Salee Enright is a lifelong resident of Warrick County and currently resides in Newburgh with her husband Danny and children. After graduating Boonville High School, she dedicated her career to the healthcare industry. Alissa has worked in various healthcare fields such as medical research, non-invasive cardiology, and most notably, emergency medicine. She has gained extensive experience as an Emergency Medical Technician while working at local area hospitals.
While waiting for a spot in the Warrick County Coroner’s office, Alissa joined the Spencer County Coroner's office as a Deputy Coroner in 2015 and earned her Medicolegal Death Investigator Certificate in 2016. She currently serves as the Chief Deputy Coroner in Spencer County. In 2017, Alissa was able to join the Warrick County Coroner’s Office, where she continues to serve as a Deputy Coroner. Alissa has been actively involved in the training of new deputies since joining the department, ensuring a strong future for the Warrick County Coroner's office.
Alissa understands that investigation is an intricate process that requires skill and expertise gained through training and continuing education critical to being a successful investigator. Alissa is Certified in Unexpected Pediatric Death Investigation, FEMA Mass Fatalities Planning and Response for Rural Communities and is a Pediatric Safe Sleep Ambassador. She has trained with the National Transportation and Safety Board, the Indiana State Police, the Indiana Coroners Training Board, the Forensic Training Center for Excellence and the Death Investigation Training Academy. Alissa gives her time and expertise as a Deputy Coroner by participating in community action efforts, such as the C.A.R.E Community Task Force Child Fatality Review Team, Project Echo, and Hope for Warrick County. She has also been a guest speaker for the forensic science classes at both Castle High School and the Warrick Pathways and Career Center.
Alissa is a highly engaged member of our community. She serves on the Board of Directors for SIRS Inc., is a member of Historic Newburgh Inc., a member of the Boonville Youth Soccer Board, and an active Warrick County 4-H Volunteer. Her dedication to her community is a shining example of how one person can make a difference.
As well as being a Deputy Coroner, Alissa and her husband own and operate a successful small business. She is the proud mother of two, step-mother of 4 and grandmother to 4 young girls.
