Charlene Christmas

Charlene is a graduate of Boonville High School. She attended the University of Southern Indiana where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in elementary education and her Master’s Degree in special education. In 2004, she started her career at Oakdale Elementary as a program assistant. She has now been a teacher for students with special needs at Oakdale for the past 17 years.
Charlene knows it is important to listen to community members’ questions, concerns, and input on current topics. She understands that she is representing her constituents and will keep an open dialogue to identify important issues. Charlene believes our community needs to be fiscally responsible when setting the city budget and evaluating future projects. She recognizes that Boonville cannot afford to be burdened with excessive future debt.
