Cindy was elected to the Indiana House of Representatives in 2020. She currently serves on the Committees for Family and Children, Public Health, and Insurance. Cindy has also been appointed to the Indiana Commission to Combat Substance Use Disorder. Cindy, a psychiatric nurse practitioner and adjunct professor, has over 35 years of medical, business, and administrative experience. She has managed both profit and not-for-profit organizations. She has also worked in retail management and owned a small manufacturing firm and a restaurant. Cindy resides in Newburgh.
