Debbie was raised in Evansville, IN where she graduated from North High School and the University of Evansville. She and her husband Richard moved their children (Andrew & Jenna) to Newburgh in 1987 where they attended the Castle schools K-12. In 1992 Debbie & her husband started their own business, Richard Reid Appraisal Company, in Newburgh serving Warrick County and the surrounding area. Debbie has been a member of the Ohio Township Advisory Board for 8 years and is the current President of the Board. She takes her Board responsibilities seriously. The Ohio Township Board members are tasked with reviewing and adopting the annual budget prepared by the Trustee, authorizing temporary loans, and approving additional appropriations. They also approve contracts for township services, including fire protection, community assistance, and are responsible for determining the salaries and wages for all township officers and employees. Keeping our firemen and our community safe is Debbie's top concern. She looks forward to continuing her service as a Township Board Member if re-elected.
Debbie has an A+ rating with Right to Life, is Pro- law enforcement, Pro-gun and Pro-constitution.
