Judy Beem has been an effective and successful Warrick County Treasurer for the past 3.5 years. Her corporate background and experience made Judy the clear choice for Treasurer in the 2016 election. She brings over 25 years of current, relevant, management experience working for national and regional companies. Judy procured and managed all facility services for a bank that held over 80 locations in four states. This work included the oversight of capital improvements, new construction and renovation projects. Her experience also included the development of multi-million-dollar budgets; both annual and long-term capital budgets, and providing financial and operational statements. In addition, Judy also managed mobile teams to provide scheduled and demand services to the facilities within four states. On the human resource side, she interviewed, hired and trained administrative and support staff.
Another unique facet of Judy’s management experience includes real estate, property, casualty and liability insurance licenses that provided additional, comprehensive insight in managing any operation.
Judy has a proven, discerning ability to work and communicate effectively across diverse business levels, and is dedicated to excellent customer service. Her approach to planning and problem solving is with an analytical and balanced attitude which has proven to provide the best results regardless of the industry.
Since becoming Treasurer in 2017, Ms. Beem has earned over $2,500,000 in interest income for Warrick County.
