Convention Delegate, District 1
Warrick County
I moved to Warrick County in 2011 specifically so my children could attend the outstanding Castle school system. As a proud single dad of six kids—five of whom I adopted—my family is the center of my world. I spent five years as a licensed foster parent and was honored as Foster Parent of the Year. I also volunteered as a CASA advocate for two years, fighting for children in the system.
For the past eight years, I drove a school bus for the Warrick County School Corporation with a perfect safety record. I recently retired from that role to focus on new ways to serve our community.
Before driving, I owned a lawn and landscaping business for nearly 20 years. That experience taught me the value of hard work, smart budgeting, and reliable service.
These life experiences—the challenges and rewards of single parenthood, fostering and adopting children, running a business, and serving families through the schools—have given me a practical, common-sense perspective. I’m running for the Ohio Township Advisory Board to bring that grounded approach to decisions that affect our families, our safety, and our tax dollars.
I look forward to listening to your concerns and working together to keep Ohio Township a great place to raise a family.
