My name is Sarah Eller, and I am running for Chandler Town Council, At-Large. I would love to have the opportunity to earn your support during this election season! Since I was a child, I have resided between both Warrick and Vanderburgh County areas. In 2020, our family decided to build our home in the quaint community of Chandler to enjoy the benefits that country life has to offer. I am not a politician. Rather, I am a citizen who has been closely examining the action (and inaction) in various levels of government. This includes the federal, state, county, township, and town level.
I am interested in serving as a Chandler Town Council member to ensure the people’s voices are heard. Once elected, I will seek to eliminate barriers between the people and those elected to represent them. In addition, I will seek to ensure that all citizens feel welcome in the presence of their representatives. Finally, I will promote an environment where decisions are being made BY the people….as opposed to FOR the people.
As a Constitutional conservative, I will seek to uphold the rights of the people, reduce regulations, and decrease taxation of the citizens hard-earned money. I value principles such as integrity, accountability, transparency, and consistency between words and action. My primary goal is to empower Chandler citizens who desire to come to the table and become an active part of the decision-making process, so they can shape the future direction of their town for generations to come. I look forward to getting to know more members of our community and I am excited to hear your thoughts about what is going well, what concerns you have, and what you would like to see accomplished to make this community a great place to call home.
