Sarah is a lifelong resident of Warrick County, currently living with her family in Newburgh. She is a graduate of Boonville High School and University of Southern Indiana, where she earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in Nursing. She is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in Interventional Pain Management. In addition to her full-time work in healthcare, Sarah has served as the Warrick County Coroner for the past 11 years. She became a Certified Medicolegal Death Investigator in 2013 and quickly put her skills to work to serve the residents of Warrick County. During her time in office, Sarah has maintained a fiscally conservative budget, built a staff of dedicated professionals, and maintained the highest standards of practice in accordance to Indiana laws. As Warrick County's first female Coroner, Sarah has established a close relationship between the Coroner’s Office and various community organizations including the Southwestern Indiana Suicide Prevention Coalition, Child Fatality Review Team, and the Bereavement team at The Women’s Hospital in an ongoing effort to assist these specialists in providing much needed resources to our citizens. Sarah's ties to Warrick County and love of her community have led her to pursue the office of Warrick County Commissioner in the 2024 election. She is committed to enriching the lives of residents, businesses and visitors of Warrick County by promoting economic growth and development. Sarah plans to foster good working relationships between developers and homeowners so that everyone can flourish and enjoy all that our great county has to offer.
